Circle of Shadows ∞ Circle of Light is a two-part ritual performance I created for the Italian festival La Notte del Re di Biss: Circle of Light unfolding at sunset, and Circle of Shadows beneath the full moon.

In this work, I explore the voice as a sacred instrument, a bridge between worlds, carrying memory, vibration, and emotion. Using only my voice, I create immersive vocal rituals: looping, layering, and transforming it into deep, drone-based soundscapes that invite stillness, openness, and surrender.

Circle of Shadows ∞ Circle of Light continues the journey I began with Night Caves (2025), delving further into the spiritual resonance of ancient landscapes and ancestral memory.

Here, light and darkness mirror one another: Circle of Light calls forth clarity and connection, while Circle of Shadows leads inward, into intuition, memory and transformation. Together, they form a cycle: a movement through both light and shadow.

Rooted in oral traditions, archetypes, and lunar rhythms, my performances are acts of sacred listening. The voice becomes a spell; the performance, a shared ritual.

Through sound, I seek to create spaces where art becomes invocation, where presence, vulnerability, and deep listening can open the door to something ancient, intuitive, and true.
