“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek”

Joseph Campbell

"Entering the inner cave,
We step into the unknown,
Facing our shadows,
Confronting the parts of us we fear.
We meet the witch,
She who knows everything,
Whispering secrets of our true selves.
Going deeper,
We journey into the cave's deepest chamber,
The heart of the cave,
Where the creative self lies in waiting.
Meeting this sacred force within,
We are transformed,
Slowly re-emerging,
Carrying the wisdom we’ve discovered.
And now, we’re out,
Forever changed,
The cave’s magic still within us."

Night Caves film begins with entering the inner cave, a metaphor for embarking on an introspective journey. We face our shadows, the hidden parts of ourselves that often go unexamined. It’s here that we encounter the witch, She Who Knows everything, representing wisdom, intuition, and the deeper knowledge we all hold within.

As the journey continues, we move deeper into the cave, eventually reaching its heart, the place where the creative self resides. It’s in this sacred space that transformation happens, where the forces of creativity, inspiration, and healing converge. We meet our true selves, unfiltered and raw, before slowly re-emerging into the world, carrying with us the insights we’ve gained along the way.

By the end of the  last song, we are out of the cave, but forever changed by the journey. The magic of the cave lingers, having revealed a new sense of self and understanding.
